Congratulations Oakland High School Graduates!
In-Person Event Information
Tickets
Each graduate will receive 8 free tickets. Additional tickets will be available for $5 from the Oakland main office or at the Tacoma Dome the day of graduation.
Dome security
Only clear bags are allowed inside the Tacoma Dome and all bags are subject to search. Read more about the Tacoma Dome's bag policy.
No weapons, helium-filled balloons, air horns, liquid string in aerosol cans, purses, or backpacks are permitted inside the Dome.
Parking and public transportation
Parking costs $15.00 per vehicle, the fee is set and collected by the City of Tacoma. We ask that families carpool to the event to ensure there’s enough space for everyone in the parking lot. Graduates and attendees can park in lots A, F, G, C, and the LeMay Car Museum lot.
Parking lots D, E, and K are for attendees with disabilities and are van accessible. Vehicles utilizing accessible parking lots must display appropriate placard, tabs, or license plates. All Tacoma Dome lots are wheelchair accessible.
The Tacoma Dome is also served by bus and light rail service. Please visit Pierce Transit and Sound Transit for more information.
Admission and seating
You may arrive up to 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Entrance is by ticket only.
ADA-accessible seating will be available. People with disabilities will be able to sit with the group their graduate invited.
After graduation
After the ceremony, graduates will exit the Dome first. Guests will follow. Please find your graduate outside the Dome and exit the parking lot as quickly as possible so the next group of graduates and guests can begin their celebration.
